Linking Records
Linking records is crucial for organizing data and connecting different objects in a workspace. In order to make sure that records are properly connected, it is important to understand how to link records and connect them in a workspace.
It is essential to understand that linking two objects together does not automatically connect the records in those objects. You must individually connect each Record. This means that paying close attention to the links between objects and ensuring that records are appropriately connected is important.
In order to connect records in a workspace, it is necessary to access the related links for each Record. This can be done by viewing the Record as a split view. The split view shows a list view on the left side and a detailed view of the Record on the right. The related links can be accessed under the reference tab in the detailed section.
From here, you can add a new record that directly connects to the current one, or you can establish a link with an already existing record. When examining a record in detail, you’ll be able to access its connected properties. If these connections aren’t immediately visible, you can enable them via the App Editor.
This feature simplifies navigation between related records, ensuring that all your data is cohesively interconnected.
